Primary Source Set: queer feminism

Feminism is a belief in the liberation and equality of women and work dedicated to these ends. Within these overarching goals, there are many different approaches and ideals. Debates about the means, conditions, and even definitions of women's liberation and equality are fundamental aspects of the movement.

This primary source set focuses on the feminism of LGBTQ+ people. Among other topics, it includes material on International Women’s Day, feminist erotica, the representation of women in art, and lesbian separatism. No small group of sources can encompass the complexity of queer feminism; researchers are encouraged to contact the archives in order to explore specific topics of interest.
