Digital Collections Featuring Pride Content
Elaine Gay Jarvis photographs (2018-90). Photographs by Elaine Gay Jarvis of the 1978 Gay Freedom Day Parade (later known as the Pride Parade) in San Francisco.
Marie Ueda photographs (2006-12). Marie Ueda is a Japanese-born photojournalist. The digital collection includes images of Harvey Milk and 1970s Pride events.

Videos of Pride Parades. Video footage of San Francisco Pride Parades from the 1970s and 1980s from the following collections: Crawford Wayne Barton Papers, Charles Cyberski Collection, and Harold T. O’Neal Collection.
Audio Collections. Our online audio collections of two radio series, Fruit Punch and The Gay Life, feature a significant amount of Pride-related content from the 1970s and early 1980s. Search “Pride” and “Gay Freedom Day.”
Art and Object Selections. Our collection of LGBTQ art and artifacts encompasses a diverse range of objects. Many of the items are Pride-related. A selection of the over 600 items is available online.
