MAESTRAPEACE Artworks records

Maestrapeace Artworks is an arts organization composed of seven women muralists who together designed and painted the nationally acclaimed mural “Maestrapeace” on the San Francisco Women’s Building. The mural honors the history of women’s contributions to societies worldwide and honors both famous and unsung women. The artists and founders of Maestrapeace Artworks are Juana Alicia, Miranda Bergman, Edythe Boone, Susan Kelk Cervantes, Meera Desai, Yvonne Littleton, and Irene Perez. They painted the mural – with many helpers— in 1994. Collection #2008-50
